About Ms. Dinner
Welcome! I am Ms. Dinner and here is a little about me. I grew up in Greeley, CO and then went to the University of Kansas for undergrad. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy and taught Environmental Education for the 3 years following. I soon learned that I loved teaching and moved back to Colorado to earn my teaching license and Masters from UNC (Greeley). After graduation, I moved to Denver and earned a spot teaching at the coveted Asbury Elementary! This is my 9th year and I have been lucky enough to be in third grade the entire time! I live near school with friends and my golden retriever, Wrigley. I grew up dancing and still have a passion for it, as well as a passion for traveling. This summer I went to Peru for 2 weeks. Machu Picchu was an incredible place. A few summers ago I spent 6 weeks in Kenya volunteering. I have to say it was a summer of a lifetime! Some of my favorite things include: soy cappuccinos, trying out new foodie restaurants around town, shopping at World Market, Nordstrom, and Ulta, walking Wrigley at Wash Park or Cherry Creek State Park, camping, hiking, and traveling the world!
